The Parish Council

Aims

The Parish Council meets on average about once every four months to:

Plan events
Debate proposed projects
Discuss new activities
Discuss issues and, where possible, solve problems
Etc.

Who can attend?

Unlike the church councils of many other denominations, our parish council is open for any member of the congregation to attend. However, all suggestions or advice offered by the Council are subject to the approval of the Parish Priest, who has the final say!

Meetings

These are usually held in the Meeting Room of the Community Centre and start at 7.30pm

There are no meetings planned at present - the next meeting will be anounced in the newsletter.

How to raise a matter with the Parish Council

If you have an idea or an issue that you think the parish should consider, there are several ways of getting it on the agenda:

Speak to the Chairman, the Secretary or either of the Priests
Click here and complete the form that appears
Turn up to the next meeting yourself and raise the matter or get it put on the agenda for the next meeting (best method!)
